The Road to Becoming a CNA
Didactic training is 2 weeks and completed online by the student. This is a total of 41 hours. Once you complete the final with a score of 75% or better, you move on to labs
Lab training is two days per week, either M/W or T/Th from 10am - 6pm for 4 days for a total of 28 hours
Once a student has passed the lab portion they progress to clinicals which are also two days per week for 5 days 10am - 630pm
When clinicals have been completed, students are able to register with OSBN, pay the fees for fingerprinting and complete the knowledge and skills test performed by Headmaster. Once these are passed, the student is eligible to get certified through OSBN (Oregon State Board of Nursing)
Cost:
Currently, the cost of the program is $450.00. Payable in full at the class orientation. Tuition is free for any employee of the Holgate Campus.
